Most iPod Owners Prefer CD

Less than 5% of iPod owners buy DRM tracks from iTune store. I'm one of those people. I've always had mp3 players even before iPod. To this day, I always buy CD and rip the tracks myself. Because I care about quality, and I hate DRM.

I still have about 20 of those free iTune tracks thing that Apple/Pepsi was giving away two years ago on the Pepsi bottle cap, never used any of them.

Same here. Buying cds and then ripping them is the way to go. Better quality, something physical to actually hold, album art and inside sleeve, and something you can give your children when they're (firstly- actually born...) at an age to appreciate it.

For me, I just hate the fact that after buying something, for the company then to turn around say "Ah but no no no, you can only do the following things with this thing you paid money for"

I mean, if I want to listen to the music in the bedroom, on iPod, in my car, on my cellphone, that's my choice. I don't want someone to say "Ah but you aren't listening to music the way WE want you to!"
