US August Console Sales Number

The August US Console sales number from NPD is out.

1. Wii - 403,600
2. Nintendo DS - 383,300
3. Xbox 360 - 276,700
4. PlayStation 2 - 202,000
5. PSP - 151,200
6. PLAYSTATION 3 - 130,600

360 gained 100k units from the price cut and BioShock. PS3 numbers dropped quickly to the normal level after the brief surge from the $100 price cut.
